We cannot succeed in our modern day world without KNOWLEDGE and therefore we make every concerted effort to acquire KNOWLEDGE. Though scholastic education is essential, it often does not bring about just rewards for all of us who have a hunger for KNOWLEDGE. Not every person that has gained KNOWLEDGE makes an indelible impact on society. There are the renowned, who others admire and endeavour to emulate and yet there are those who have so much KNOWLEDGE and sad to say no influence. Why is this? Perhaps we may say for those who do not make an impact that their gaining of KNOWLEDGE was misdirected. They concentrated in the wrong fields of KNOWLEDGE. Or better still they had KNOWLEDGE BUT LACKED THE WISDOM TO IMPLEMENT THE KNOWLEDGE EFFECTIVELY.
Over the years The Lord Jesus has taught me that KNOWLEDGE to be effective and meaningful has to enriched and supplemented by WISDOM. THE TWO CAN NEVER TRULY BE EFFECTIVE SAVE THEY WORK TOGETHER. THEY COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER TO COMPLETE EACH OTHER.
WISDOM, to me is the ability to express KNOWLEDGE EFFECTIVELY. FURTHERMORE AS A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT TRUE KNOWLEDGE IS NOT WHAT I KNOW BUT WHO I KNOW.
KNOWLEDGE THAT BLESSES, MOULDS AND SHAPES MAN FOR THE BETTER IS HID IN GOD. THE WONDERFUL FACT OF THIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE IS THAT THOUGH HID YET IS IT REVEALED TO THOSE WHO HUNGER NOT JUST AFTER KNOWLEDGE BUT AFTER GOD WHO IS ALL KNOWLEDGE. GOD’S WORD REVEALS NOT JUST WHO GOD IS, IT ALSO REVEALS HIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE.
The Word of God declares that without KNOWLEDGE man perishes. This is not ordinary KNOWLEDGE; rather it is the KNOWLEDGE OF KNOWING GOD (Hosea 4:6). Knowing God through accepting JESUS as one’s SAVIOUR and reading and meditating on HIS INFALLIBLE WORD and yielding to THE HOLY SPIRIT brings about true KNOWLEDGE.
KNOWLEDGE OF GOD BRINGS INTIMACY WITH GOD THAT DEVELOPS WISDOM, THE VERY GODLY ABILITY THAT SHAPES POEPLE’S LIFES FOR THE BETTER: FOR THE LORD GIVETH WISDOM: OUT OF HIS MOUTH COMETH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING (PROVERBS 2:6).
Let us as God’s anointed children seek after God, for in thus doing we will find true KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM.
